Scholarship Open: August 1 - August 30, 2024
Each year the Marge Kearney Scholarship is awarded to the children or grandchildren of Suffolk AME members in celebration of her life and recognition of her contributions to our union. Marge Kearney was very active in the promotion of Suffolk AME, always working to better the lives of all of her AME brothers and sisters. Carrying the torch into the next generation, her daughter Maureen Sterka is now a member of AME.
The Marge Kearney Scholarship is available for children and grandchildren of AME Members. All applicants must be enrolled in full-time programs at accredited institutions of higher learning during the Fall 2024 semester. This scholarship will be awarded by lottery.
Applications must be returned to AME Headquarters no later than Friday, August 30, 2024.
